Garden to Table Fundraising Dinner, Oct 2010

Matawhero Wines was proud to be a part of the inaugural Garden to Table Trust Gala Fundraising Dinner held at St Matthew-in-the-city in Auckland on 28th October 2010.

This event raised funds for the exciting initiative that is the Garden to Tables Programme, which is aimed at NZ primary school children where they learn to grow, harvest, prepare and share food - see www.gardentotable.org.nz

On the evening Matawhero Wines was partnered with the Sugar and Spice girls, who are a group of primary aged girls from Auckland who in association with Dish Magazine prepared one of the course as below matched with the famous Matawhero 2009 Gewurztraminer.
